I am new to precision pistol shooting/bullseye, and spent a lot of time trying to decide on my first truly accurate .45acp, and am extremely pleased with this choice. I think it will be a while, if ever, before my own capabilities match those of this pistol.
I can say that everything you have read about how smooth the slide is, and how incredible the trigger is true. Alex is correct that the pistol is extremely easy to field strip and a pleasure to clean.
Alex, Vladimir, and all the Pardini USA staff I have had contact with have been extremely helpful with my questions, and made the whole experience of purchasing this pistol a delight.
I really like the look of the gun with the new shroud. With the various color combinations you can make a very attractive pistol. I bought the short model as I had shoulder surgery and I am not as strong as I was.Alex suggested I may want to consider the short model as it was a little bit lighter. The pistol has the same quality Pardini is known for. The trigger is an excellent 2 stage with very fine adjustments. The sights have a lot of adjustability. The grips are comfortable with adjustable palm rests. The balance of the gun seems very good and it comes with 4 weights. The dry fire capability is a nice feature when you want to practice trigger control and sight picture. I am very happy with it and look forward to do a lot of shooting.
I have now moved to the Pardini HP32 ,after years of shooting a Walther GSP expert, for my centre fire match.
The HP feels to me,to be a better balanced pistol, & perceived recoil is so much quicker .the dampening system is great.
The pistol works flawlessly every time glad i made the change.
I can only imagine how good the 6 inch bulls-eye pistol would be ,
on my to buy list.
Online store has friendly fast reply for ordering parts etc.
This is the best 45 ACP target pistol for the NRA bullseye events bar none.
PROS:
1. Ergonomics are exceptional, especially with the optional anatomical Rink grip.
2. Adjustable trigger allows for a single stage rolling trigger setup or a two-stage setup with fine-tune control over the second stage travel and weight. The smoothness of the trigger is out of this world.
3. Very good adjustable target sights.
4. The pistol is extremely easy to field strip and clean. As a matter of fact, it is a joy to field strip and clean!
5. Available 45/40/9mm conversions allow for shooting multiple calibers out of the same frame, grips and trigger.
6. Reliable. No malfunctions in either 45 or 9mm.
CONS:
It would be nice to be able to adjust trigger blade position in the same manner as in it is done in SP/HP series pistols (or Sig Sauer X5 L1 for that matter). Other than that the gun is perfect!
I purchased the Pardini SP Bullseye primarily for indoor .22lr NRA Precision Pistol, but I also use it for International Standard Pistol as well (I don't have the upswept palm shelf on my gun). The pistol has proven to be incredibly accurate, and I've enjoyed the very adjustable two stage trigger, which has a crisp break. With this pistol my average score increased by at least 20 points per match, and I was able to receive the High Master classification from the NRA. I should have purchased the Pardini long before I did, as it has improved my shooting, and given me great satisfaction.
If you're looking at purchasing a pistol for bullseye, standard pistol, or rapid fire, you really can't go wrong with a Pardini SP.
I couldn't be more pleased with my decision to purchase this package. I'm still learning/adapting to the actual pistol as a long time 3P shooter the club guys say I have potential as a bullseye shooter and this investment will grow with me.. But, the review is really about the service and personal attention the staff at Pardini USA have invested to make me comfortable with this $$$ investment.
I value a personal touch point and Alex/Emil have been responsive... for a long term involvement in the sport... this is all important..
